A global space party that keeps getting bigger!  This year there were 198 parties in 51 countries.  STS VP Sam Coniglio has this to say about the NASA Ames event:

“Twice as large and twice as amazing, this year's event at NASA Ames in Sunnyvale, California gathered an eclectic collection of science, technology and the arts. A space fashion show brought out dozens of creatively costumed characters. Speakers such as Buzz Aldrin, Steve Wozniak, Will Wright and more educated and inspire nearly 4000 attendees. Later in the evening, Burning Man-style art, performances, and music kept the crowds excited.”
